Doctor Filomena Mina has died at the age of 72, having dedicated a significant part of her life to the Santo da Serra Health Center.
Messages of condolence have been shared widely on social media. The Santo da Serra Parish Council highlighted the doctor's 40 years of service, stating that "'Dr. Filomena Mina Street' in the center of our Parish now gains an even greater echo".
The Council added that the doctor "was a pillar of humanity, a safe haven, and a friendly presence in the most difficult times for so many families in our community. Her dedication always went beyond the boundaries of professional duty."
