DTIM Contributes to International Scientific Publication on School Cybersecurity

The Regional Association for the Development of Information Technologies in Madeira (DTIM) participated in the creation of a scientific chapter for the international work 'Digital Knowledge in Modern Education Management', published by academic publisher IGI Global.

The chapter, titled 'Cybersecurity in the School Context: Integrative Review', featured contributions from José Miguel Sousa, DTIM's Director-General, and Rudney Castro, the association's cybersecurity specialist. The collaboration also included Andréia de Bem Machado from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (Brazil) and Maria José Sousa from ISCTE (Lisbon).

DTIM views this participation as recognition of its work in cybersecurity and a way to position Madeira as a knowledge hub in digital transformation.
