The Agency for Innovation and Modernization of the Autonomous Region of Madeira has announced the resumption of operations at the Citizen's Shop on Avenida Arriaga, starting Tuesday, August 18th.
This decision follows the partial resolution of a fault in the air conditioning system, which now ensures "minimum necessary conditions" for public service and staff.
While the service area is now climate-controlled, the agency noted that the overall air conditioning system issue is not definitively resolved and requires more significant intervention. Procedures for this larger project are underway.
Despite the temporary fix, the agency deems that essential conditions for normal service have been restored, making the previously adopted minimum service regime unnecessary. The agency will continue to monitor the situation for a permanent solution and thanks everyone for their understanding during the recent disruptions.
