easyJet cabin crew in Portugal have announced strikes for the periods of October 2-6 and December 19-23. The airline estimates that around 500 flights in Portugal may be affected.
In Madeira, between October 2 and 6, 34 easyJet operations are scheduled, with 6,324 seats, on the Lisbon-Funchal, Porto-Funchal, and Porto-Porto Santo routes. Between December 19 and 23, another 28 operations are planned, with 5,208 seats, between Lisbon and Funchal, and Porto and Funchal.
In case of cancellation, passengers have the right to choose between a refund of the ticket, re-routing to the final destination at the first opportunity under comparable conditions, or a flight on a later date at their convenience.
