Eduardo Jesus, Regional Secretary for Tourism and Culture, inaugurated the "40 Years | 40 Photographs" exhibition by the Lusa Agency at the Madeira Archive and Library. The exhibition features 50 photographs, with 40 showcasing the agency's history and ten focusing on Madeira.
Jesus emphasized the significance of this event for the region, noting Madeira's association with an important national process. He highlighted the crucial role of Lusa and its journalists in promoting Madeira both nationally and internationally, referring to them as "messengers" of events and facts.
The exhibition celebrates the agency's 40th anniversary and pays tribute to photojournalists. It has been touring the country since March.
