The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology, through the Regional Directorate of Education, is organizing a discussion titled 'Conversations that Sustain: Mental Health in Organizations'. The event will take place in the auditorium of the Madeira Archive and Library on Friday, October 9th, at 2 PM, as part of World Mental Health Day commemorations.
The initiative aims to discuss the importance of mental health in the workplace, recognizing the significant impact these contexts have on individuals' emotional health, motivation, and quality of life. Factors such as stress and workload overload highlight the need to promote more human and health-promoting organizational cultures.
The program includes an opening session with the Regional Director of Education, João Costa e Silva, and a panel of guests comprising specialists from various fields, including psychology, social security, and academia. Deodato Rodrigues will moderate the discussion. The meeting will conclude with a summary of the key reflections on creating organizational conditions that foster well-being and positive professional relationships.
