The Regional Secretariat for Education, Science and Technology (SIREC) reported that 62% of school staff participated in the strike called for Monday, July 20. Out of 661 employees, 410 joined the work stoppage.
During the morning shift, 16 schools were closed, and 17 schools were closed during the afternoon shift. An additional 13 schools experienced partial activity disruptions, according to SIREC.
