Doctor Emanuel Pita da Silva, former director of the Legal Medical Office of Madeira and one of the most recognized figures in Legal Medicine in the Region, has died.
An expert in the field, he led the Legal Medical Office of Madeira for several years and served as an expert witness in various high-profile judicial cases, including the trial of Father Frederico in the early 1990s.
In addition to his work in Legal Medicine, Pita da Silva also practiced as a General and Family Practitioner. DIÁRIO extends its deepest condolences to his family and friends.
