The traveling exhibition "Madeira and the European Union" has been inaugurated in Porto Santo, continuing the initiative's regional tour.
Promoted by MEP Sérgio Gonçalves in partnership with AMRAM, the exhibition celebrates 40 years since Portugal's accession to the EEC and aims to showcase Madeira's journey within the EU and its impact.
The exhibition, which will be on display in Praça do Município until August 27, covers topics such as European treaties, community funds, and the Outermost Regions Statute.
After Porto Santo, the exhibition will move to Câmara de Lobos, continuing its route through various municipalities of the island.
