Galeria Tratuário Promotes Contemporary Drawing with Setembrário Initiative

Galeria Tratuário in Funchal presents Setembrário, an initiative dedicated to promoting contemporary drawing.

Galeria Tratuário in Funchal is launching Setembrário, an initiative focused on promoting contemporary drawing. The project aims to encourage artistic creation, provide new exhibition opportunities for emerging artists, and connect the community with art.

The initiative begins on September 1st with a week of individual drawing development, concluding with a collective drawing. From September 9th, a group exhibition will be held at the gallery until September 30th, with all works available for purchase.

Participation is free and limited to 40 individuals aged 16 or older with artistic training or currently studying art. Setembrário is based on the concept of community creation, sharing experiences, and dialogue between different artistic languages.

Registration is open until August 24th via the Galeria Tratuário website or an online form. Setembrário seeks to establish drawing as an autonomous artistic discipline of significant cultural value, creating a meeting space for artists and the public.
