The travelling exhibition "Madeira and the European Union" has opened at the Madeira Press Museum in Câmara de Lobos, where it will remain until the end of September.
Promoted by MEP Sérgio Gonçalves's office, the exhibition marks 40 years since Portugal joined the then European Economic Community. Using infographics, it covers topics such as EU funds, European treaties, and Madeira's status as an outermost region.
The initiative, a partnership with AMRAM, plans to tour several municipalities. After Câmara de Lobos, the exhibition will move to the Ribeira Brava municipality.
