An urban fire has once again consumed a building on Rua de Santa Maria, in Funchal's historic area, this morning.
The affected building is located next to another that burned on Friday night on Rua da Boa Viagem, near the Mercado dos Lavradores. Emergency services were mobilized to the scene.
The incident led to the partial closure of D. Carlos I and Latino Coelho streets, as well as adjacent roads.
