The São Martinho Community Center, in partnership with the São Martinho Parish Council, hosted the Folk Group 'As Lavradeiras de Penamaior', from Paços de Ferreira, for four days. The initiative involved 56 participants.
The program included visits to various locations on the island, such as Funchal, Curral das Freiras, Monte, Pico do Arieiro, Ribeiro Frio, Faial, Santana, Porto da Cruz, and Porto Moniz, allowing the group to experience Madeira's landscapes, towns, and heritage.
The highlight of the visit was their participation in the XXVIII São Martinho Folklore Festival, where the group delivered a well-received performance. This visit continues an exchange that began in July in northern Portugal by the São Martinho Community Center's Folklore Group.
