A 32-year-old French tourist was attended to by the Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters early this morning on Rua Latino Coelho in Funchal.
According to his own account, the man was reportedly hit by a motorcycle near the Mercado dos Lavradores. The motorcycle rider allegedly left the scene after the incident.
The tourist had visible facial injuries, including a cut on his nose, and was transported to Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital for medical treatment.
