A 32-year-old French tourist was rescued early this morning on Rua Latino Coelho in Funchal.
The Madeiran Volunteer Firefighters were called at 00:30 to the Mercado dos Lavradores area to provide aid to the man, who had facial injuries.
The injured man was subsequently transported to the emergency department of Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital.
