Three people were arrested at Madeira International Airport, Cristiano Ronaldo, for possession of illicit substances.
The arrests occurred during routine security checks. Significant quantities of heroin and cocaine were seized.
The detainees were handed over to the relevant authorities for subsequent legal proceedings.
