Events include 'The Market That Unites Us' at the Mercado dos Lavradores, where visitors can share their origins, celebrating the market as a global meeting point. Admission to the Funchal Natural History Museum will be free on Sunday, encouraging exploration of Madeira's natural heritage.
The Municipal Tourism Awards ceremony will take place on Friday at the Mercado dos Lavradores. Four individuals will be honored for their contributions to preserving crafts, enhancing cultural identity, their longevity and dedication to traditional activities, and safeguarding Funchal's intangible heritage.
