The Funchal City Council has concluded the 5th edition of the '+ Local Commerce' program with an award ceremony for the final draw. This year's initiative, a collaboration with ACIF, transitioned to a fully digital model using the Funchal Munícipe app and the Funchal Citizen Card platform.
Throughout the campaign, 208 local businesses across all parishes participated. A total of 2,280 coupons were registered, corresponding to 1,012 submitted invoices, which generated over 75,812 euros in sales, highlighting the program's positive impact on the local economy.
In total, 60 prizes of 250 euros each were awarded, amounting to 15,000 euros, to be used at participating establishments by July 31, 2026. The final draw included 23 winners, totaling 5,750 euros.
