Funchal will host the 10th National and 8th International Gymnastics Congress from October 9th to 11th. The event will take place at the Penteada Campus of the University of Madeira and is expected to gather more than a hundred participants.
Organized by the Madeira Gymnastics Association and the Portuguese Gymnastics Federation, with the support of the Funchal City Council, the congress was presented at the council building. Councilor Helena Leal highlighted the importance of continuous training for sports professionals and the event's role in promoting the sport and establishing Madeira on the gymnastics scene.
