The Liturgy and Spirituality Secretariat of the Diocese of Funchal is hosting a talk this evening on the theme 'Photography in Religious Celebration – Challenges and Possibilities'. The event will take place at the Diocesan Pastoral Centre, in the Colégio Church, starting at 7:30 PM.
Professional photographers, amateurs, photojournalists, digital content creators, and parish communication collaborators are invited to attend. The aim is to foster an open dialogue on the ethical boundaries, sensitivity, and potential of image capture in religious settings, focusing on documenting the celebration's story without becoming part of it.
