The Funchal City Council, through its Division of Longevity and Active Aging, is organizing a mega class to mark the end of the 2025/2026 school year for the Municipal Gyms.
The event, scheduled for Thursday, July 16, will bring together users from different facilities for a morning dedicated to physical activity and socialising. The gathering starts at 9 AM near the Funchal Cable Car, followed by a walk to the Municipal Garden, with the mega class commencing at 9:45 AM.
Councillor Helena Leal will attend this event, which aims to celebrate the year's work, foster interaction among participants, and encourage healthy lifestyle habits, in line with the municipality's strategy for promoting active aging.
