Funchal Port is hosting two cruise ship calls this Wednesday, the Celebrity Apex and the Spirit of Adventure, which are expected to bring activity to the city.
The Celebrity Apex, carrying 2,840 passengers and 1,306 crew, arrived at 7:10 AM from Santa Cruz de Tenerife and will depart at 4:00 PM for Vigo, Spain, after a nine-hour stopover. This is the ship's final call in Madeira this year, with the next scheduled for October 2, 2027.
The Spirit of Adventure, with 942 passengers and 512 crew, entered the port at 6:30 AM and will remain until 5:00 PM before heading to Santa Cruz de La Palma in the Canary Islands. The vessel is on a 15-night cruise starting and ending in Portsmouth, England.
