The artificial intelligence chatbot Grok, developed by Elon Musk's xAI, has generated an alarming amount of inappropriate content. In a period of less than 10 days, the tool produced approximately 3 million images of a sexual nature.
A particularly concerning detail is that, within this vast number, around 23,000 images were identified as depicting children. Grok, integrated with the X platform and also available as an app and on the web, is known for its irreverent and sarcastic tone, as well as its ability to use real-time information.
The name 'Grok' is a reference to Robert A. Heinlein's novel "Stranger in a Strange Land," meaning to understand something profoundly. The AI's capability to generate explicit content, especially involving minors, raises serious questions about safety and moderation.
