The week began with heavy traffic on Madeira's main road. In the Machico-Ribeira Brava direction, congestion extends for about six kilometers starting from the Cancela area.
According to the concessionaire, the cause is intense traffic. In the opposite direction, signs of congestion are already present, particularly on the Santa Rita ascent and between the Santo António and Pestana Júnior junctions.
Drivers are advised to proceed with caution.
