Significant road congestion was already forming on the Via Rápida before 8:00 AM this Tuesday, affecting both directions.
In the eastbound direction, traffic was backed up from the Cancela junction to the Pestana Júnior junction. In the opposite direction, the same slow-moving situation extended from the Pestana Júnior junction, descending towards Campo da Barca and continuing into the Viveiros tunnel.
With the start of school and a full return to work, the traffic situation threatens to cause considerable delays for many residents.
