Councillor for Health, Helena Leal, advocated for an integrated approach to health and inclusion at the 2nd ANDO Regional Meeting, emphasizing the role of municipalities in creating responses that consider the various dimensions of life for individuals with bone dysplasias.
During the opening session at the Institute for Qualification, the councillor congratulated the ANDO Regional Delegation for the initiative and highlighted the importance of "opening new paths," fostering greater coordination between health, education, employment, and social support.
Helena Leal reiterated the Funchal Municipality's willingness to continue collaborating with ANDO, recognizing the associations' role in addressing the needs of vulnerable individuals. "We are available to continue opening paths and building the necessary bridges to create a city for everyone, increasingly inclusive, productive, and healthy, but above all, humane," she concluded.
