The Imaculado Coração de Maria Parish Council celebrated Grandparents' Day with the 'Celebration of Life' initiative, which brought together dozens of participants.
Events began with a Mass of Homage to Grandparents at the Parish Church, followed by a show at the Parish Hall presented by the local Senior University, featuring music, theater, and dance. The initiative concluded with a social gathering to strengthen community ties.
Parish Council president Pedro Araújo highlighted the essential role of grandparents and the Senior University's contribution to active aging and civic participation.
