The Portuguese Institute for Sea and Atmosphere (IPMA) has placed the Madeira archipelago under a yellow warning today due to the forecast of hot weather.
The warning will be in effect from Friday at 00:00 until Sunday at 23:59, covering the islands of Madeira and Porto Santo.
Maximum temperatures are expected to range between 30 and 32 degrees Celsius, with minimums around 23 degrees.
