Jaime Moniz school hosts students from Poland and Slovakia

From 26 October to 2 November, the Funchal school welcomes two European groups in an EU-funded educational exchange.

The Jaime Moniz Secondary School in Funchal is hosting two groups of students from Poland and Slovakia between 26 October and 2 November, as part of a European educational exchange.

The visitors come from the Zespół Szkół nr 3 in Kielce, Poland, and the Gymnázium Ľ. Štúra 26 in Michalovce, Slovakia. The programme includes school tours, lessons, extracurricular activities and visits around the island, including the CR7 Museum.

Erasmus+ coordinators Fernanda Freitas and Rolando Almeida say the exchange aims to foster shared learning, intercultural dialogue and social skills among young people. The project is funded by the European Union.
