The Regional Secretary for Economy, José Manuel Rodrigues, highlighted the journey of Monte Palace Garden Madeira in the Tourism category final of Portugal's New 7 Wonders.
Rodrigues congratulated the winners and emphasized Madeira's presence until the decisive phase, stating that participation allowed for "enhancing and giving greater national visibility to the diversity of Madeiran heritage".
The archipelago was represented in all seven categories of the contest, aiming to promote the Region's historical, cultural, architectural, and tourist heritage to the national public.
