Following a break of about a month, Danish tourism has resumed its journeys to Porto Santo with the arrival of an Airbus flight carrying over 140 passengers.
Among the arrivals, a significant number of golf players and enthusiasts were noted, highlighting the market's importance for promoting Porto Santo as a golf destination.
Air operations from Denmark are expected to be reinforced in October with an additional flight from Billund. The link between Denmark and Porto Santo is projected to continue until 2027, aiming to maintain the flow of Nordic tourists and stimulate economic activity outside peak seasons.
