The Seixal Parish Council has formally taken over the management, operation, and maintenance of the Poça das Lesmas and Mata Sete natural pools. This agreement was established through a protocol with the North Madeira Development Society.
The protocol aims to ensure the daily operation of these two bathing areas by fostering direct collaboration between the parish council and the development society, which is overseen by the Regional Secretariat for Equipment and Infrastructure. The understanding also outlines the conditions for use, monitoring, and maintenance of the pools, thereby strengthening management and institutional cooperation for the enhancement of these sites.
