JPP questions the Regional Government, IHM, and Câmara de Lobos about 60 homes promised for June that remain undelivered.

JPP Accuses PSD of Delay in Delivering 60 Promised Homes in Câmara de Lobos

Miguel Ganança, a deputy from Juntos Pelo Povo (JPP) and councilor in Câmara de Lobos, demanded explanations regarding 60 homes that the PSD had promised to deliver by the end of June, but which remain unoccupied as of September.

The developments in question include Jardim da Serra (15 apartments), Ribeiro Real (25 units), and Rancho (20 units), with deliveries announced in March for the June deadline. Site visits confirmed that the properties are still vacant, as are three municipal apartments on Estrada José Avelino Pinto.

Ganança contrasted the delay in social housing with the costs of the Câmara de Lobos's institutional communication machine, estimated at over 10,000 euros per month. JPP demands that the Regional Government, IHM, and Municipal Chamber publicly clarify the number of homes already delivered, pending procedures, and the projected completion dates for each development.
