JPP deputy Filipe Sousa has expressed satisfaction at the approval, last Wednesday, of three initiatives presented by the party in the national parliament.
One proposal seeks to reduce the extra costs of island living in the Autonomous Regions. Another recommends that the government allow both parents to accompany children with cancer simultaneously. The third recommends promoting remote working where possible to reduce workers' fuel expenses.
Sousa said the approvals show that concrete proposals made from Madeira can win parliamentary support, even with a single deputy.
