Lack of Students Forces Closure of Six Master's Programs at the University of Madeira

The University of Madeira (UMa) has decided not to open the second phase of applications for six master's programs due to insufficient student numbers.

These programs had a total of 79 available places but only registered 20 enrollments. Although they will not be offered this academic year, the courses retain their accreditation.

This decision comes as the Funchal City Council announced a 20% increase in scholarships, with the Regional Government expanding the range of beneficiaries.
