Traffic flows relatively normally on Via Rápida this Wednesday morning

Traffic on the Via Rápida experienced relatively normal flow this Wednesday morning, September 2nd. A higher concentration of vehicles was observed on some accesses to Funchal, characteristic of the morning rush hour.

Footage captured shortly after 8:15 AM indicated fluid circulation from the Caniço ascent, passing through Cancela and Pinheiro Grande, without significant congestion on the main road. As one approached Funchal, traffic volume naturally increased in the Boa Nova, Pestana Júnior, and João Gomes areas, but without prolonged blockages.

In contrast, in Câmara de Lobos, the junction near Ponte dos Socorridos showed little traffic and very fluid circulation. The areas of Santo António, São Martinho, and Santa Rita maintained some intensity, typical of rush hour, but without disruptions.
