EB1/PE da Lombada, located in Ponta do Sol, participated in the 9th edition of Erasmus+ Days. The school took part in the 3rd International Conference 'Erasmus Days - Our Stories', organized by Școala Gimnazială 'Ion Gheorghe Duca' in Romania.
The hybrid event featured a presentation of the Madeiran school's journey under the theme 'A small school on a big European journey'. Projects in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics) were highlighted, incorporating digital tools and innovative teaching methodologies.
The conference brought together educators and partners from various European countries. Rosa Luisa Gaspar, director of EB1/PE da Lombada, emphasized the value of sharing experiences, learning from other schools, and creating new learning opportunities, stressing the goal of making students feel part of a larger European community.
