The Madeira Camping Club is organizing a 15-kilometer hike for Saturday, August 22nd. The proposed route includes Paul da Serra, Assobiadouros, Fanal Trail, Palha Carga Trail, the mother of the 25 Fontes Levada, 25 Fontes, Risco Waterfall Viewpoint, Casa do Rabaçal, the New Rabaçal Tunnel, and the Caldeira leisure area.
The hike is expected to last approximately 6 hours and is rated as moderate in difficulty. The trails are open to the public, and participants should pay attention to the indicated difficulty levels.
Registration can be completed via phone, SMS, WhatsApp, or email to [email protected], with the subject line "Registration for the Hiking Trail." Required information includes full name, date of birth, and tax identification number (NIF) for personal accident insurance, along with a mobile phone number. The registration fee covers transportation from Funchal to the hike's starting point and back, plus personal accident insurance. Failure to cancel registration by 4 PM the day before the activity will incur charges for transportation and insurance.
