The median bank valuation for housing in the Autonomous Region of Madeira increased in June to €2,609 per square meter, according to data from the National Statistics Institute (INE) analyzed by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM).
Compared to May, the indicator rose by 0.4%, representing an increase of €11 per square meter. Year-on-year, the increase was 19.6%, or €427 per square meter more than in June 2025.
Madeira remains the fourth region in the country with the highest bank valuations, behind Greater Lisbon, the Algarve, and the Setúbal Peninsula, and above the national median of €2,228/m².
By property type, apartments recorded a median value of €2,885/m², while houses settled at €2,180/m². In Funchal, the region's highest valuation was €2,936/m².
