The Madeira Ornithological Association (AOM) held an awareness initiative focused on responsible bird breeding and biodiversity preservation.
The event took place during a summer camp organized by the Parish Council of São Martinho, featuring the association's 9th exhibition and attracting dozens of children. Concurrently, the official announcement was made for the second edition of the Madeira International Bird Exhibition (MIBE) 2026, scheduled for October.
The international exhibition is planned from October 23rd to 25th, aiming to strengthen Madeira's standing in the international exhibition circuit of the World Ornithological Confederation (COM). The AOM reiterated its commitment to the motto 'To Breed is To Preserve'.
