The Mental Health and Psychiatry Nursing Service of Dr. Nélio Mendonça Hospital is organizing the 2026 Mental Health Reflective Meeting, to be held in October in Madeira. The event is part of the World Mental Health Day commemorations.
The initiative aims to create a space for reflection, sharing experiences, and scientific updates, bringing together health professionals, companies, institutions, and the community. Under the motto "More Health, Better Future", the organization believes that cooperation between nurses, businesses, and civil society can strengthen mental health promotion and improve responses to the population's needs.
The scientific program will feature speakers from Lisbon, and the organizing committee is seeking institutional and private partners. The meeting intends to raise societal awareness about prevention, combating stigma, and promoting psychological well-being, aiming to become a regional reference in the field.
