The Club Sports da Madeira (CSM), organizer of the Madeira Rally, has announced receiving 89 entries for the upcoming event, scheduled from July 30 to August 1.
This figure exceeds the limit of 75 teams set by the specific regulations, prompting the organization to conduct a detailed review of competitors and vehicles to ensure safety and the smooth running of the rally. Priority will be given to teams with valid FIA homologation and drivers classified in the Portuguese and Madeiran championships.
Competitors with FIA and FPAK-eligible RGT vehicles, as well as 'showman drivers', will also be considered in the selection process for their potential contribution to the event's spectacle and fan excitement.
