Madeira is among the top three regions in Portugal with the highest rental prices, according to an analysis by the real estate portal Imovirtual.
The region records an average cost of 22 euros per square meter per month, surpassed only by Lisbon (€27/m²/month) and Porto (€23/m²/month).
The price per square meter is considered a more rigorous indicator of the actual rental cost, reflecting the significant influence of location on property values.
