Madeira Rents Rise 10.3% in June, Bucking National Trend

Rental property prices in the Autonomous Region of Madeira saw a 10.3% increase in June compared to the same month last year. The median price reached 15.8 euros per square meter, though this is below the historical peak of 16.7 euros/m2 recorded in April.

This trend stands in contrast to the national average, where rental prices fell by 2.4% over the same period, settling at 16.3 euros/m2. In Funchal, the annual rise was even more pronounced, up 12.1% to 16.8 euros/m2, making Madeira's capital the second most expensive city in the country for rentals, after Lisbon.
