In the fourth quarter of 2025, the Autonomous Region of Madeira (RAM) saw a 2.2% increase in residential high-speed fixed-line customers, reaching 96,300.
This growth was significantly boosted by the expansion of fiber optics (FTTH/B), with cabled accommodations rising by 12.6% compared to the same period last year, totaling 258,100.
Data updated by the Regional Directorate of Statistics of Madeira (DREM) shows that fixed broadband internet accesses reached 116,800 in 2025, a 2.9% increase from 2024. Subscription television accesses also rose by 2.1%, exceeding 117,000.
