August 2026 brings a diverse cultural agenda to the island of Madeira, highlighting the "Encounters - Cultural Route". The Madeira Photography Museum - Vicente's Workshop marks World Photography Day with a guided tour of the exhibition 'The Invention of Funchal'.
Other events include a literary meeting with "As Tecedeiras" at the Municipal Library of Câmara de Lobos, "Forte à Terça" featuring Tiago Sena Silva and Juliana Anjo, a concert by the Tuna de Câmara de Machico, and the "SANTAcurtas" outdoor cinema.
