Madeira's Regional Public Administration saw its revenue increase by €70.7 million in 2025, bringing the total to €2,246.6 million. This 3.3% growth compared to 2024 was primarily driven by a 4.8% rise in current revenue.
Capital revenue, however, decreased from €277.8 million in 2024 to €257.5 million in 2025. The largest contribution to the increase in current revenue came from other current revenues, which grew by 18.5%, adding an additional €57.3 million.
Total expenditure also rose, up 3.8% to €2,090.1 million. Personnel expenses increased by 7.3%, and social benefits grew by 5.3%. Despite the revenue increase, the overall surplus of the Regional Public Administration slightly decreased from €162.5 million in 2024 to €156.5 million in 2025.
