The Madeira Regional Statistics Directorate (DREM) achieved a new historic record in 2025, with 1,207 references in the regional and national press, according to the Activity Report.
DREM was involved in 102 statistical operations, 82 national and 20 regional. The institution conducted 16,685 interviews with families, an 8.7% increase from the previous year, and received 80,530 self-administered questionnaires, 13.5% more than in 2024.
The topics that most contributed to press mentions were Transport, Construction, Population, and Tourism. DREM's portal received 39,300 unique users, who conducted 62,000 sessions.
