The University of Madeira (UMa) will expand its educational offerings for the 2026/2027 academic year with the introduction of three new Professional Higher Technical Courses (CTeSP). The new programs include Archives and Information Management, Cybersecurity and Computer Networks, and Management Information Technology for Tourism.
The Archives and Information Management course aims to train qualified technicians to manage, organize, and preserve information, while Cybersecurity and Computer Networks prepares professionals to identify and prevent digital risks. The Management IT for Tourism course focuses on creating and integrating information systems within the sector.
Applications for these and other available CTeSP courses are open until August 14, with a second phase planned for September. The CTeSP programs last two academic years, featuring a strong practical component and a six-month internship, leading to a professional higher technician diploma.
