The Madeira Street Arts Festival arrives in Funchal today, starting at 11:00.
The programme features living statues, ballet, breakdancing and comedy, with national and international artists taking part.
Performances will take place at several locations in the city, including Avenida Arriaga, Praça Central, Largo da Sé, Rua Fernão de Ornelas and Mercado dos Lavradores.
